Monterey Bay’s Motor Club & Full-Service Garage
Calico Motor Club grew out of our other business, Air-Cooled By-the-Sea. That was a passion project built on decades of hands-on automotive experience. It was a medley of mechanical creativity, and a deep love for sports cars, bespoke builds, motorcycles, and the people who keep them alive.
What began as a service shop became something larger. Customers became friends. Appointments turned into conversations. Builds became long-term relationships. The garage became a place people wanted to spend time, not just a place to drop off a car.
Calico Motor Club is the next chapter.
We carry forward the same careful approach to maintenance, repair, tuning, fabrication, and vehicle care, while expanding into a more complete home for enthusiasts. It is a place to service your car, improve your car, store your car, meet other people, watch a race, grab a coffee, and be part of a community that feels personal.
About the Garage
Calico exists for both the vehicle and the person who loves it.
Our team provides thoughtful, detail-driven service for enthusiast cars, sports cars, classics, bespoke vehicles, and motorcycles. Whether your car needs routine maintenance, a more involved performance setup, or a long-term plan, the goal is the same: keep great machines on the road and make them better to own, drive, and enjoy.
About the Club
Calico is also a private motor club built around real automotive culture.
Members can stop in, talk cars, enjoy the lounge, watch races, grab coffee and food, attend events, join rallies, and take advantage of club perks and partner benefits. It is a place for gearheads, collectors, drivers, and friends to gather around the machines and stories that make car culture worth sharing.
